This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee comprehensive cyber incident response efforts from the moment of initial alert through to resolution and the client's offboarding process.
• Facilitate collaborative response initiatives among forensics, legal, public relations, business continuity, and executive teams to ensure a cohesive strategy.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients during incidents, delivering clear and timely updates while managing expectations in high-pressure environments.
• Lead the organization and prioritization of incident response tasks to guarantee swift and effective results.
• Keep precise, thorough, and defensible records of incident timelines, actions undertaken, and results achieved.
• At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within incident response or a similar domain.
• Practical experience with incident response tools such as EDR, SIEM platforms, and forensic collection/analysis instruments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of remaining composed and systematic under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to convey intricate technical information into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in managing and de-escalating high-stress situations while collaborating with a range of stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail across multiple ongoing incidents.
• Robust technical knowledge of cyber threats, attack methods, and incident response frameworks.
