CX Expert Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain internal support tools and customer self-service options.

• Take ownership of and enhance Zendesk configurations, workflows, automations, and integrations.

• Create scalable integrations among support systems, product services, analytics platforms, and CRMs.

• Collaborate closely with Customer Support teams to identify operational bottlenecks and provide effective solutions.

• Enhance reliability, observability, and operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, testing, and documentation.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to expedite engineering workflows and boost productivity.

• Mentor fellow engineers and engage in technical leadership, design reviews, and the promotion of engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including senior or lead-level roles.

• Proficient full-stack engineering abilities with contemporary frontend technologies (React/TypeScript or similar) and backend systems (Node.js, Kotlin, Java, Python, or Go).

• Demonstrated experience managing production systems comprehensively, addressing operational concerns and system reliability.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.

• Experience with APIs, integrations, observability tools, and making data-driven decisions.

• A keen interest and enthusiasm for AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code.

• Exceptional collaboration abilities and a customer-focused mindset, ideally with experience in supporting operational or customer-facing teams.
