Customs & Trade Compliance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Ensure adherence to customs regulations while facilitating the efficient import and export of goods.

• Develop, implement, activate, and manage daily operations within the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ).

• Oversee FTZ team members, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.

• Assist operational teams with FTZ procedures, training, and best practices.

• Manage inventory oversight and reporting within FTZ settings.

• Coordinate with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regarding all FTZ-related issues.

• Conduct internal compliance assessments and drive process enhancements.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless movement of goods across borders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in international trade, supply chain management, or a related discipline.

• 4+ years of experience in FTZ management, bonded warehouses, or trade compliance.

• 2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a logistics or compliance setting.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and FTZ operations.

• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) is preferred.

• Capacity to function effectively in a structured, compliance-focused environment.

• Experience with a diverse range of commodities and industries.

• Proficient in ACE, ABI, ICRS, and ERP systems.
