Customer Team Leader, District Sales Manager – Cardiovascular Disease

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead and supervise a team of Customer Representatives to achieve exceptional sales results by effectively recognizing and addressing customer needs.

• Provide mentorship and direction to Customer Representatives to improve their skills and performance.

• Manage training initiatives and oversee all personnel-related processes for the customer team, ensuring ongoing development and optimal resource utilization.

• Build and sustain a high-achieving customer team that aligns with organizational objectives and meets customer expectations.

• Willingness to travel at least 15% of the time to facilitate team and customer engagement activities, which may occasionally necessitate overnight stays.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care within the Pharmaceutical sector.

• A valid driver’s license.

• An advanced degree such as an MBA or MS in a Science, Business, or Healthcare discipline is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with key opinion leaders or influential clients in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, coach, and motivate successful sales teams, preferably in the Cardiovascular market, along with prior Field Sales Management experience is preferred.

• A strong analytical mindset with experience in coaching sales teams to effectively utilize tools and technology for gathering customer insights and enhancing sales performance is preferred.

• Experience in sales and leading teams within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Device industries is preferred.
