Customer Team Leader, District Sales Manager – Cardiovascular Disease

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee a team of Customer Representatives to achieve exceptional sales results by effectively identifying and meeting customer needs.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to Customer Representatives to improve their skills and performance.

• Manage training initiatives and handle all personnel-related processes for the customer team, ensuring ongoing development and optimal resource distribution.

• Build and sustain a high-performing customer team that aligns with the company’s objectives and meets customer expectations.

• Willingness to travel at least 15% of the time to facilitate team and customer engagement activities, which may occasionally involve overnight stays.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care within the Pharmaceutical sector.

• A valid driver's license.

• An advanced degree such as an MBA or MS in a Science, Business, or Healthcare field is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience collaborating with key thought leaders or influential clients in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, coach, and motivate successful sales teams, preferably within the Cardiovascular sector, with prior Field Sales Management experience preferred.

• Strong analytical skills with experience in coaching sales teams to effectively utilize tools and technology for gathering customer insights and improving sales impact is preferred.

• Experience in selling and leading teams in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Device industries is preferred.
