Customer Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver daily technical assistance to all Gluware clients, resolving any issues they may face with the Gluware platform.

• Facilitate regular success engagements, ensuring clients achieve their objectives and meet their requirements with the Gluware platform.

• Collaborate with customers to onboard and implement Gluware servers and the Gluware IDE.

• Partner with Pre-Sales and Sales teams, providing guidance and support for automation strategies and customer implementations.

• Occasionally lead or assist with product training sessions and demonstrations.

• Contribute to the development of internal and external documentation, product resources, and customer-facing materials.

• Stay updated on key network and cloud vendor architectures, products, and emerging AI/ML capabilities relevant to network automation.

• Participate in the on-call rotation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2-3 years of practical networking experience (design, implementation, or operations).

• Solid understanding of various IT concepts (networking, virtualization, Linux, scripting automation, regex, infrastructure services, etc.).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable collaborating with engineers, architects, and leadership teams.

• Highly driven, capable of understanding complex concepts, and quick to learn.

• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, adapt swiftly to changes, and work with determination to achieve success.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to operate within a multi-disciplinary and multicultural team.

• Nice to Have: 3-5 years of experience with at least one of the following: MongoDB, JavaScript, LiquidJS, Ubuntu, Docker, APIs.
