
Customer Success Manager – Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Public Sector clients to transform pre-sales command plans and desired business outcomes into specific, actionable goals.
• Advise customers on effective utilization of the GitLab platform, leveraging established best practices, DevSecOps principles, and standard Git workflows and branching strategies.
• Navigate and oversee the customer journey while mentoring clients on the gradual adoption of new GitLab use cases.
• Serve as the primary GitLab representative for your clients, coordinating responses to inquiries, issues, and escalations by closely collaborating with Support, Product Management, Sales, Professional Services, and other teams.
• Manage a designated portfolio of clients, responsible for driving adoption, retention, expansion, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Keep abreast of GitLab releases and assist clients in understanding and implementing new features in their environments and use cases.
• Apply project management skills to plan, monitor, and execute customer enablement and success initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
• Must be eligible as a United States Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
• Experience in Customer Success or a related customer-facing role with a proven history of enhancing satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
• Proven ability to partner with clients to align technical capabilities with business outcomes and establish measurable objectives.
• Familiarity with Git and standard branching strategies, as well as knowledge of the software development lifecycle and development pipelines.
• Understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps principles, along with their application by clients.
• Capability to manage a diverse portfolio of public sector clients, prioritizing effectively across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and organizational skills.
