This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee both incoming and outgoing calls efficiently, averaging 50-60 calls daily.
• Adhere to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to update and deliver essential information for resolving denied claims.
• Assess existing policies and SOPs, offering recommendations for process enhancements.
• Manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Comprehend and interpret explanations of benefits or related correspondence.
• Record all account details in line with guidelines and regulations.
• Engage in telephone communication with physicians, insurance companies, and patients.
• Collaborate with physician offices, hospital labs, patients, and internal stakeholders to meet client needs accurately and effectively.
• Provide product education and address a diverse range of inquiries.
• Ensure a world-class customer experience.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Customer Service.
• Excellent phone and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong active listening skills.
• Capability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient critical thinking skills.
• Ability to use tools for verifying eligibility, claim status, and obtaining enhanced billing information.
• Work schedule: Monday-Thursday from 9 AM to 6 PM EST and Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM EST.
