This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist borrowers of student loans with inquiries regarding their accounts, repayment alternatives, and application procedures.
• Manage both incoming and outgoing calls in a dynamic, high-volume contact center atmosphere.
• Deliver accurate, professional, and compassionate customer assistance.
• Ensure adherence to federal regulations, company policies, and standards for data security.
• Achieve key performance metrics and maintain quality assurance benchmarks.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Proficient in both Spanish and English, predominantly handling calls from Spanish-speaking clients.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience in a business environment, excluding retail, or experience in a call center.
• Minimum of 6 months of computer experience in a professional setting.
• Competence in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote).
• Ability to obtain and sustain a Federal Public Trust (5c) security clearance (financial and credit history will be assessed): Must not be in default on federal student loans.
• Proven track record of financial responsibility.
• No felony convictions in the past 7 years.
• Misdemeanor convictions within the last 7 years may affect eligibility.
• No non-medical collections amounting to $7,500 or more.
• Previous call center experience is preferred.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Health & Welfare Pay: An additional $5.09 per hour (up to 40 hours per week), sufficient to fully cover employee-only medical, dental, and vision premiums.
