This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Handle over 80 incoming calls daily from patients, medical offices, or private insurance providers.
• Set up payment plans for patients with overdue balances.
• Leverage various resources to address patient inquiries during calls.
• Achieve performance targets consistently.
• Gain proficiency in processes after completing a comprehensive training program.
• Collaborate with both external customers and internal staff to address customer queries.
• Deliver product training and manage a diverse range of inquiries.
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Capability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and concentration.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in navigating multiple computer applications and screens.
• Competence in alpha-numeric data entry.
• Strong communication skills.
• Aptitude for finding solutions to complex patient billing challenges.
• Availability from Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm EST; training hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of experience in a high-volume call center.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of experience in medical billing, insurance claims, and explanations of benefits.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of experience in patient billing.
