Customer Care Representative – Life Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Respond to inquiries related to retirement, life, and annuity investment products.

• Assess customer requirements and deliver tailored service.

• Collaborate with more experienced team members when necessary.

• Find and investigate information utilizing various systems and technologies.

• Work with cross-functional departments to address issues.

• Record customer questions and the actions taken.

• Follow up on pending items promptly.

• Acquire and maintain a fundamental understanding of products, procedures, and systems.

• Meet department performance metrics and expectations.

• Engage in a team-oriented environment to accomplish departmental objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a business discipline or equivalent experience.

• One year of experience in a call center or customer service role, or within the financial services sector.

• Strong communication skills with customers, both verbally and in writing.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient in using MS Office applications.

• Familiarity with retirement, life, and annuity investment products is preferred.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts.

• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
