Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in extensive phone communication with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties.

• Address policyholder requests received through correspondence, phone calls, and emails.

• Evaluate and uphold updated procedures related to policy information.

• Adhere to departmental benchmarks regarding call volume, average handling time, and time management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, with some college education preferred.

• A minimum of one year of office experience is preferred.

• Experience in telecommunications is advantageous.

• A background in life and health insurance, along with understanding insurance operations, is preferred.

• Prior customer service experience and strong phone communication skills are essential.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Strong organizational skills are necessary.

• The ability to maintain confidentiality is a must.

• Proficient alpha and numeric recognition skills are needed.

• Proven mathematical skills are essential.

• Basic computer skills are required.

• Capability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness, tact, and professionalism is necessary.

• Strong decision-making abilities with the capacity to analyze situations and draw logical conclusions are required.

• Must be able to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
