This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by clarifying policy coverage, updating claim statuses, and assisting with claim payments or other policy-related inquiries for policyholders and/or interested third parties.
• Engage in frequent phone communication with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties.
• Process requests from policyholders through correspondence, phone calls, and emails.
• Review and uphold new and modified procedures regarding policy information.
• Adhere to departmental standards concerning call volume, average handling time, and time management.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college experience is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of office experience is preferred.
• Experience in telecommunications is advantageous.
• A background in life and health insurance, along with knowledge of insurance operations, is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience and strong telephone skills are essential.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong organizational abilities are necessary.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality is a must.
• Excellent recognition skills for both letters and numbers are required.
• Proven mathematical skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Must be capable of managing high-stress situations with composure, tact, and professionalism.
• Strong decision-making abilities with the capacity to analyze situations and draw logical conclusions are essential.
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute is required.
