This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• In this position, you will lead in resolving customer inquiries and concerns regarding all products and services through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat.
• Efficiently manage a high volume of inbound calls within a timely framework.
• Operate without a script while maintaining control of the conversation.
• Recognize customer needs, clarify information, research, and offer solutions or alternatives.
• Utilize company and client resources provided to handle calls accurately.
• Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Actively engage in initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and uphold quality standards.
• Skillfully transition between tasks without compromising efficiency or composure.
• Demonstrate the ability to multitask using various systems, depending on the client's working environment.
• Successfully complete all required training sessions.
• Communicate effectively with patience and understanding.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.
• Ensure availability at your desk, adhering to punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times.
• Uphold personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and confidentiality in all areas of work.
• Show willingness to cross-train as needed.
• Safeguard the highest level of confidentiality and security in accordance with Five Star Call Centers policies.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or customer support.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in a call center or office setting is required.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Technically adept (capable of navigating between multiple browsers and systems using dual monitors).
• Previous experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
• Previous experience working remotely from home is advantageous.
• Quick learner with the ability to work independently.
• Strong verbal communication skills and active listening capabilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A background check and drug screening compliant with state and federal laws are required.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Paid training lasting approximately 3 weeks from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (CST).
• Full-time position with 40 hours per week, benefit-eligible starting on the 1st of the month after 60 days.
