This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.
• Respond to telephone inquiries from plan participants, group contacts, and providers concerning benefits and claims.
• Deliver clear, precise, and prompt answers to information requests.
• Record calls in Chronolog by summarizing essential discussion points.
• Return calls from specified voicemail boxes.
• Read, interpret, and implement plan documents, amendments, and updates for various clients.
• Meet with clients as necessary to address questions about health benefit plans.
• Provide support to team members and cross-functional partners.
• Log faxed claims and input fax information into Chronolog.
• Redirect misdirected claims to the proper provider.
• Assist members with navigation of the website.
• Achieve or surpass production, quality, and audit standards.
• Maintain dependable and punctual attendance.
• Investigate and identify claim information.
• Aid in maintaining provider records.
• Index claims and correspondence batches.
• Fulfill responsibilities for assigned client groups.
• Support employee training and cross-training initiatives.
• Research and compile refund documentation.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Basic experience in computer usage and customer service.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Adobe Acrobat, with a willingness to learn new software.
• Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• High interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Capability to organize and recall extensive detailed information.
• Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting benefit plans, insurance documents, and regulations.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to present a positive image.
• Commitment to privacy and confidentiality standards.
• Flexibility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating professionalism and patience.
• For remote work, must have cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
• Option for remote work (either occasionally or permanently).
• Requirement for internet service/support context for home working: cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
