Customer Retention Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming calls from policyholders seeking to cancel their policies, aiming to understand their issues and explore options for retention.

• Reach out to customers with expired life insurance policies to discuss potential opportunities and payment solutions.

• Evaluate individual policyholder circumstances and suggest suitable coverage modifications.

• Exhibit clear, empathetic, and professional communication by actively listening to policyholder concerns.

• Keep precise records of all customer interactions, retention attempts, and outcomes within company systems.

• Remain updated on life insurance products, policy features, and company protocols to deliver accurate information.

• Tailor communication style to accommodate the unique needs of each customer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, capable of speaking, reading, and writing fluently in both languages.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.

• Experience in a call center setting is preferred.

• Some background in insurance and/or sales is preferred.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to address complex policyholder concerns with a positive demeanor.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure.

• Familiarity with life and/or health insurance terminology is preferred.
