Customer Licensing Alignment Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture productive relationships across various functions and organizational tiers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster teamwork and joint efforts.

• Successfully navigate a virtual and global landscape while adapting to changing priorities.

• Oversee stakeholder expectations and promote accountability through analytical, problem-solving, and communication expertise.

• Develop and enhance standard operating procedures and policies.

• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of software deployment and entitlement rights for Quest-licensed products.

• Clearly and accurately convey license allocation methodologies.

• Generate reports, metrics, and analyses concerning software usage and entitlements.

• Capture and evaluate the software licenses deployed among customers.

• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Sales, and Procurement teams to gather and interpret data from various systems.

• Assess whether customers are appropriately licensed in accordance with their entitlements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software license compliance or similar legal/compliance roles.

• Extensive knowledge and/or demonstrated success in software licensing or audit positions.

• Proficient in software license metrics, compliance tools, industry best practices, and licensing regulations.

• Familiarity with IT, IT procurement, software licensing operations, IT Service Management, and SAM processes.

• Understanding of the IT sourcing and procurement lifecycle.

• Ability to interpret and negotiate terms and policies related to software licensing.

• Experience with enterprise software license agreements across perpetual, subscription, and cloud models.

• Knowledge of significant supplier licensing terminology, policies, and models, including Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and VMware.

• Understanding of deployment and distribution models for multi-platform software applications.

• Strong skills in data management, analytics, problem-solving, and communication.

• Capability to work effectively in a virtual and global environment.
