Customer Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Implement Harrison.ai solutions, which encompass software installation, configuration, and system testing.

• Remotely construct, configure, and oversee Ubuntu Linux enterprise systems.

• Collaborate with our healthcare industry vendor partners to develop and sustain integrations for our client base.

• Design and implement integrations with our partners utilizing messaging standards such as RESTful APIs and HL7.

• Manage and maintain test environments for issue replication.

• Provide systems and demonstrations to internal cross-functional teams as well as for client presentations.

• Partner with customers to verify the proposed solution architecture and ensure it aligns with their workflows and objectives.

• Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding ongoing tasks and expectations.

• Assume responsibility for managing customer cases and expectations in a professional manner.

• Deliver high-quality technical support (Level 2 and 3) to our expanding customer base.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose customer issues by utilizing documentation, knowledge base articles, and support from the broader technical team.

• Record troubleshooting and problem resolution procedures for future reference.

• Appropriately escalate technical issues to other internal teams and collaborate with our development team to address advanced challenges.

• Document all activities in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards in a timely manner.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of service experience in healthcare informatics and/or medical imaging informatics technologies.

• Several years of experience working directly with external customers.

• Proficient in installing and maintaining Linux operating systems.

• Experience in configuration and scripting (Bash or Python).

• Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, and other networking concepts.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Willingness to travel, including internationally.

• Degree in computer science, healthcare/informatics, or a related field.

• Experience and/or familiarity with case management tools (Salesforce Service Cloud, Jira) and knowledge base platforms (Confluence, SharePoint).

• Knowledge of healthcare information protocols, standards, and systems (e.g., HL7, DICOM, PACS, EHR, and/or RIS).

• Familiarity with AWS and VMWare (certifications are a plus).

• Experience with healthcare workflow engines (e.g., Nextgen Connect).

• Previous experience as a System Admin or Infrastructure Engineer.

• Experience with containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
