C/Unix Developer – Pro*C

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Creates design documentation and translates it into component-level designs to expedite development.

• Offers design expertise to support the development team in delivering flexible, reusable components that enhance cost efficiency.

• Evaluates, designs, and reviews applications and suites of applications to ensure alignment with customer specifications.

• Serves as a liaison between application architects and development teams to coordinate product development and implementation.

• Collaborates with product development teams and senior designers to establish design requirements that meet company needs accurately.

• Assists in reviewing and analyzing collected information during technical research, as well as evaluating tools and methodologies to ensure compliance with current industry, client, and company standards.

• Develops and delivers technical documentation; participates in and oversees the creation of test plans, integration, and deployment.

• Engages in business process work sessions, project meetings, and joint application development sessions to ensure that product design decisions are effectively communicated to departmental personnel.

• Acts as a domain expert, working closely with software developers to clarify application design and coordinate activities between the two functions to enhance product quality and efficiency.

• Leverages experience in development methodologies, coding documentation, testing methodologies, and industry standards to define project requirements, functional specifications, and detailed designs for application solutions tailored to clients.

• Provides leadership and guidance to less experienced personnel, directing the work of junior developers to create, maintain, and communicate application design details to ensure adherence to specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of three years of experience in product design and support.

• Familiarity with software design, software development life cycle, and development methodologies and implementation.

• Knowledge of product systems design principles.

• Proficiency with relevant programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software.

• Understanding of company application development policies and procedures.
