• Select article topics from a curated pool

• Conduct research and craft original travel articles

• Propose article topics to our Editorial team

• Maintain a dedicated and consistent contribution to the site

• Adhere to TheTravel's Editorial Guidelines while creating unique, high-quality content

• Generate articles promptly to ensure that the latest industry news and the most captivating content are always accessible to TheTravel's loyal readership

• Operate under tight deadlines and deliver tasks punctually

• Collaborate with the Lead Editor to effectively implement feedback

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related discipline

• 5 years of experience in creating travel and related content

• Deep knowledge and strong enthusiasm for the travel industry, particularly the latest travel content

• Familiarity with SEO best practices

• Experience with a custom CMS is preferred

• Professional experience in the cruise industry, as a travel agent, or as a frequent cruiser with over 5 years of hands-on experience

• Knowledge of cabin classes, major cruise lines, ports, and onboard logistics from firsthand experience
