• The Cruise Consultant provides tailored services to both current and prospective clients.
• The incumbent is expected to manage all facets of booking a client's vacation with minimal oversight.
• Cruise Consultants demonstrate confidence in the products and processes of Cruise Specialists, achieving established sales targets.
• Our shared objective is to guarantee a seamless experience and exceptional service for Cruise Specialists clients.
• Conduct research and prepare proposals for client presentations.
• Offer precise pricing along with the advantages of collaborating with Cruise Specialists.
• Suggest all ancillary items, including insurance, hotels, and air travel.
• Process quote requests from all lead channels promptly and input transaction details into the Agent Mate reservation system.
• Follow up as necessary.
• Ensure clients receive all essential information for their vacation, including travel requirements, visa details, final payment notices, and other reminders.
• Capable of booking cruise reservations with all cruise lines, utilizing online booking engines when feasible.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to existing, new, and referred clients.
• Address client concerns as they arise and engage management when appropriate.
• Participate in additional duties and projects as assigned by the Director of Sales.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel industry is required, with a preference for cruise market experience.
• Familiarity with most cruise lines, ships, and global destinations.
• Knowledge of various Cruise Line booking tools.
• Proven exceptional sales and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Zoom, with the capability to learn new technologies quickly.
• A friendly demeanor with a natural inclination to exceed expectations.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating self-motivation.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Outstanding organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
• Capability to perform under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to recognize when management's involvement is necessary.
• Capacity to absorb, retain, or easily access a large amount of information.
• Experience in a Cruise Line or Travel Agency is required.
