This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the CSS request channel during specified coverage periods
• Address requests for connections with students who meet the CSS supporter criteria
• Assess and manage learners’ crisis situations or potential crises
• Direct learners to suitable community resources, including food banks, mental health services, and medical bill assistance programs
• Conduct follow-up with students when further outreach is necessary
• Identify and advocate for support from organizations that focus on urgent care needs
• Provide coverage for an 8-hour shift each day on the CSS Slack channel
• Take necessary actions or coordinate support for rare life-threatening circumstances or situations that require alerting authorities

• Willingness to work during CSS coverage hours: 5 AM–6 PM Pacific Time Monday–Thursday and 5 AM–5 PM Pacific Time Friday
