
Crisis Intervention Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Monitors crisis queues for clients engaged in individual therapy, family therapy, and group sessions.
• Responds to incoming crisis calls, delivering real-time risk assessments, de-escalation techniques, and safety planning.
• Screens for risk and collaborates on stabilization strategies for clients who may pose a threat to themselves or others.
• Completes all necessary documentation in accordance with compliance standards and Charlie Health's best practices.
• Acts as a primary point of contact for crisis triage during client group sessions, working in conjunction with Senior Care Coaches and Care Coaches.
• Conducts case consultations with Care Team members as required.
• Provides support to all Care Team members (including Primary Therapists, Care Coaches, Group Facilitators, etc.) in relation to client care.
• Performs additional care coordination tasks as necessary.
• Undertakes other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Director of Crisis Response and Prevention or the Chief Clinical Officer.
• Must be a resident and hold a license in the state of Oregon.
• Clinician must be independently licensed.
• Prior experience in crisis management is preferred.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the team and clients.
• A driven individual with a passion for mental health, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, and enthusiastic about contributing to a developing business.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Familiarity with cloud-based communication tools and relevant software—Gmail, Slack, Dropbox, Zoom, EMR—is required.
