This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Bank Loan Policies.
• Fundamental understanding of SBA Standard Operating Procedures and eligibility criteria.
• Must remain informed about economic developments and trends.
• Accountable for ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements relevant to the job role.
• Analyze and review all pertinent third-party reports and seek available information on public websites to support loan presentations, including Credit Reports, CLEAR Reports, etc.
• Responsible for financial collections.
• Track covenants effectively.
• Provide support to the Servicing Team for all Credit Administration needs.
• Prepare credit memos.
• Conduct tax verifications for sellers and borrowers.
• Complete assigned re-approval loan presentations and change memos.
• Fulfill Adverse Action requirements.
• Participate in National Markets Committee meetings to provide commentary as needed to support loan requests.
• Review original documents to comprehend the nature of loan requests.
• Analyze financial statements and tax returns while conducting a preliminary assessment of repayment capacity.
• Generate and communicate to customers the credit needs list within established service level obligations.
• Prepare credit memos with justified and accurate narratives/information for final review by management, ensuring compliance with SBA requirements for small loan credit memos.
• Communicate effectively with customers to gather and synthesize all relevant and necessary information.
• Manage time and priorities efficiently to meet deadlines while handling multiple loan requests in a time-sensitive environment.
• Maintain a foundational knowledge of commercial banking regulations, financial and cash flow analysis, and loan structuring.
• Conduct internal loan reviews.
• Recommend loan structures in collaboration with lenders.
• Determine risk ratings.
• Actively engage in loan committee discussions.
• This role will have designated lending approval authority.
• Uphold a high level of customer service for both external and internal clients, positively representing the Bank.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required (7+ years preferred).
• Flexibility, adaptability, and collaboration skills are essential.
• Strong listening skills and a willingness to be coached.
• Ability to proactively solve problems and think critically.
• Excellent technical and computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Experience with Sageworks Analysis is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail is necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple loan submissions and tasks at various stages concurrently.
