This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide administrative and operational assistance to the Director of Quality & Organizational Effectiveness

• Facilitate effective communication and follow-up on essential initiatives

• Conduct research and gather data for credentialing and quality assurance tasks

• Offer recommendations and solutions for related challenges

• Assist in managing the complete credentialing lifecycle for physicians, including initial appointments and reappointments

• Collect, verify, and maintain necessary documentation

• Ensure adherence to Medical Staff Bylaws, The Joint Commission standards, and relevant regulations

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and survey-ready credentialing records and databases

• Aid in preparing for accreditation surveys

• Stay informed about credentialing standards and regulatory updates

• Safeguard the confidentiality of physician and credentialing information

• Execute additional duties and special projects as assigned

• Foster a positive, professional, and service-oriented atmosphere

• Encourage teamwork and collaboration across various departments

• Comply with organizational policies, attendance expectations, safety, workplace, and compliance programs

• Participate in mandatory meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities


⛳️ Requirements

• Strong comprehension of credentialing processes, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements, including The Joint Commission guidelines

• Capacity to identify issues, analyze problems, and propose effective solutions

• Proactive attitude with the initiative to enhance administrative processes and support functions

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prepare, maintain, and audit records and reports accurately

• Effective interpersonal skills for cultivating professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and external stakeholders

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment

• High level of discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

• Prior experience in credentialing, healthcare administration, or a similar administrative support role is preferred

• Willingness and flexibility to undertake a variety of assigned tasks
