This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the onboarding processes for newly appointed clinical providers, ensuring that all credentialing prerequisites are fulfilled prior to the submission of enrollment.
• Confirm provider demographic and professional details, including licenses, certifications, educational background, and credentialing documents.
• Establish and manage NPI records, CAQH profiles, MedTrainer profiles, and other credentialing system records.
• Update CentralReach provider profiles and claims settings as needed.
• Gather licenses, board certifications, curricula vitae, and necessary supporting documentation.
• Assist providers with payer enrollment applications and attestations.
• Deliver completed enrollment packets along with supporting documentation to the Credentialing Enrollment Specialist.
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Clinical Operations, hiring managers, and enrollment teams to track onboarding progress and set target start dates.
• Keep accurate credentialing records and monitor license expirations and other requirements.
• Address provider inquiries regarding onboarding, credentialing, and enrollment documentation.
• Maintain workflows, checklists, standard operating procedures, and processing documentation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance onboarding efficiency and improve the provider onboarding experience.
• Outstanding organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Proficient in managing multiple onboarding, application, and credentialing tasks while adhering to deadlines.
• Strong skills in prioritization and time management within a fast-paced environment.
• Competent in coordinating provider onboarding and collecting necessary credentialing and enrollment documentation promptly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as provider database, credentialing, and enrollment systems.
• Experience in maintaining accurate records, ensuring data integrity, and managing documentation within credentialing and onboarding platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adhere to established processes while seeking improvements in onboarding efficiency.
• Understanding of confidentiality standards and the capability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaborate with Human Resources, Clinical Operations, Credentialing, and Compliance teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in healthcare onboarding, credentialing, provider enrollment, medical office administration, or related healthcare support roles.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
