This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +20 more states.
• Oversee the copy direction for brand and growth channels, campaigns, product launches, and major strategic initiatives.
• Create and implement a learning and iteration process that leverages campaign performance data to enhance messaging for future campaigns.
• Define, evolve, and manage Kin's brand voice, tone, and messaging frameworks across various channels.
• Incorporate AI into workflows to accelerate processes and allow more time for the human creative thinking that distinguishes Kin from competitors.
• Collaborate with product teams, editorial content, SEO, design, channel managers, and senior leadership to generate emotionally engaging, campaign-level ideas while ensuring adherence to brand standards and creative direction at scale.
• Convert marketing and business priorities into clear, engaging creative strategies and executions based on core insights.
• Work closely with editorial content, SEO, design, and channel managers.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to uphold messaging clarity and consistency throughout the organization.
• Enhance creative quality by ensuring that ideas are executed with a growth mindset, intent, and efficiency.
• Over 8 years of experience in copywriting and creative leadership within brand and growth sectors, either in-house or at an agency.
• A portfolio that showcases campaign-level thinking, voice development, and writing expertise across different formats and channels.
• Experience in analyzing performance data and iterating to improve each campaign's effectiveness.
• A clear, well-supported perspective on what makes creative work successful, and the ability to communicate this to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
• Proven experience in collaborating across various teams and functions.
• Ability to swiftly adapt to changes while maintaining a growth-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience in translating complex or nuanced briefs into engaging creative concepts and executions.
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic creative leadership with hands-on execution.
• A collaborative approach that empowers cross-functional and creative partners to achieve their best work.
