This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take charge of Bodily's visual representation across various platforms, including digital, social media, email, ecommerce, paid advertising, packaging, and campaign materials — ensuring a cohesive and elevated brand aesthetic at every interaction.
• Actively seek out opportunities to enhance the brand through new content formats, refined executions, visual system improvements, and notable moments to highlight.
• Present creative concepts and directions to the CMO for feedback and alignment — you will be leading the initiatives rather than waiting for instructions on what to create.
• Create and uphold visual systems, templates, and brand standards that enable the entire team to work more efficiently and maintain consistency.
• Design across social media, email, paid advertising, web, ecommerce, and campaign channels with a clear understanding of what drives content performance and aligns with the brand identity.
• Generate assets that support campaign messaging, adhere to brand standards, and fulfill promotional, launch, and ecommerce objectives.
• Develop high-quality product detail page (PDP) assets that effectively convey product benefits, features, and brand positioning in a clear and persuasive manner.
• Assist in sales and promotional initiatives across email, advertisements, homepage placements, PLP cards, and various other site touchpoints.
• Create mockups for website updates, campaign concepts, and merchandising ideas with sufficient speed and refinement to facilitate discussions.
• Produce weekly static, GIF, and short-form video advertisements for Meta and other paid channels — overseeing the asset handoff to agency partners and utilizing performance insights to enhance future creative efforts.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to generate short-form video content for both paid and organic social platforms: reels, story ads, product demonstrations, UGC-style edits, and campaign materials. Be comfortable working within a video editing timeline and knowledgeable about effective in-feed performance.
• Utilize AI-powered video and motion tools (such as CapCut, Gemini, or similar) to increase output and efficiency without compromising quality.
• Assist the Social Media Manager by providing templates, visual systems, and campaign assets that maintain integrity across various formats and placements.
• Offer creative insights and support for updates to Amazon, Target, and Walmart PDPs, A+ content, and storefront materials.
• Regularly engage with AI tools — including image generation, video enhancement, performance analysis, and copywriting assistance — as an integral part of your daily workflow.
• Help the team discover how AI can accelerate production, enhance testing speed, or enable creative possibilities that may not be achievable given our current size.
• Share your perspective on emerging tools and advocate for those that can enhance the team's capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of packaging designs for both new and existing products.
• Prepare production-ready files, print specifications, and artwork revisions with meticulous attention to typography, color accuracy, hierarchy, and legal copy correctness.
• Provide assistance with hang tags, care tags, inserts, and other printed materials.
• Keep files, templates, and creative systems organized to support efficient production.
• Demonstrated expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Experience with Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar video editing software is preferred.
• Proven experience employing AI creative tools as a genuine part of your workflow, not merely familiarity with them.
• Background in designing for marketing channels — you comprehend how creative work aligns with campaign objectives, beyond just visual appeal.
• A proactive approach: you take initiative, create, and seek feedback instead of waiting for approval.
• Comfortable suggesting creative direction with aspirations of becoming an art or creative director and guiding stakeholders — you can justify decisions, accept input graciously, and distinguish between the two.
• A portfolio showcasing a diverse skill set: strong typography, layout, branding, visual storytelling, along with AI-generated images and/or videos, and motion design.
• A clear and confident communicator — you contribute ideas, pose insightful questions, and operate independently without excessive guidance.
• Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• A design degree is a plus, but not mandatory if your portfolio effectively demonstrates your capabilities.
• This is a remote, temp-to-full-time opportunity. We are seeking candidates located in the US who are available during East Coast business hours.
• Transitioning to a full-time role unlocks the complete Bodily benefits package, which includes equity, paid time off, and subsidized health insurance.
