This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Define and enhance the visual identity system for Robots & Pencils.
• Create and document brand guidelines, standards, and usage protocols.
• Develop scalable design systems and templates for consistent execution.
• Outline system boundaries for brand expression across digital, print, presentations, and motion media.
• Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and risks in current brand implementation.
• Create a clear roadmap for the evolution of the brand system in alignment with company growth.
• Serve as the final approval authority for all outgoing brand materials.
• Implement structured intake, prioritization, and review workflows.
• Ensure visual consistency across all external-facing assets.
• Elevate craft standards throughout the organization by setting clear expectations and providing feedback.
• Minimize ad hoc design tasks and delivery interruptions through improved systems.
• Lead high-visibility marketing, growth, and business development initiatives.
• Transform brand strategy into tangible visual outcomes.
• Offer creative direction across digital, social, presentation, video, and print mediums.
• Ensure that every external interaction reinforces brand clarity and credibility.
• Oversee third-party vendors for video, motion, and print production.
• Provide clear creative direction, briefs, and quality assurance.
• Assess vendor output against established brand standards and expectations.
• Build reliable production partnerships that can scale with the business.
• Define the operational model for the Brand Experience function.
• Recognize future hiring needs and role specifications.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead future contributors to the brand.
• Create sustainable processes that enable brand quality to scale with growth.
• Hands-on experience in motion or video creation is advantageous, though not mandatory.
• Extensive expertise in visual identity systems, brand architecture, and governance.
• Demonstrated experience leading brand initiatives within a consultancy, agency, or growing organization.
• A portfolio showcasing system-level brand thinking beyond mere execution.
• Experience managing external creative and production vendors.
• Comfort and confidence in engaging with executive stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Strong operational discipline with the ability to create structure from ambiguity.
• A high ownership mindset, capable of both leading and executing tasks.
• Experience in motion design or video production is a plus.
• Experience in establishing internal brand teams from scratch is also a plus.
