This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable legal advisor to ARC leadership and team members on a variety of legal and compliance issues.

• Offer daily legal support regarding U.S. government contracts and financial assistance agreements.

• Provide guidance on commercial transactions, including the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of diverse agreements.

• Oversee and facilitate the resolution of disputes, claims, and other contentious matters.

• Analyze complex laws and regulations, offering practical advice to ensure adherence to relevant legal and regulatory obligations.

• Work collaboratively with various departments within the organization.

• Compose or aid in the creation of legal, business, or commercial communications directed at internal stakeholders and third parties.

• Deliver presentations for different purposes and audiences.

• Assist in managing the budget and outside counsel activities within the designated area of responsibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of legal experience, ideally in a transactional law, research, technology, energy, or defense-centric environment.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.

• Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.

• Comprehensive generalist skill set with the capability to advise across multiple legal areas, including commercial transactions, disputes, regulatory compliance, and general corporate issues.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory to support U.S. Government Contracts and Financial Assistance Agreements.

• Currently holds or can obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
