This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more states.
β’ Assist Costing Directors in executing clinical study costings within the Costing Department and ECS group.
β’ Assess RFP scope and specifications, begin costing, and ensure the accuracy of pricing-tool data throughout the cost finalization process.
β’ Evaluate, revise, and modify system-generated budgets as necessary.
β’ Participate in RFP process meetings, which include risk assessment, strategy discussions, pricing evaluations, challenge calls, senior management calls, and bid-defense preparations.
β’ Lead the development and submission of proposals, ballpark estimates, concise responses, letters, and re-cost estimates throughout the RFP process.
β’ Oversee delegated costing compilations for RFP responses and projects that have been awarded without competition.
β’ Develop and implement tailored monitoring strategies using the monitoring calculator when needed.
β’ Analyze pass-through items, vendor quotes, and vendor inquiries to confirm accurate costs.
β’ Assist with assumptions documents and RFI responses to ensure accuracy and alignment with budgets and business practices.
β’ Collaborate with resourcing, senior directors, clinical operations, and GCTO to ensure timely assignment of project teams.
β’ Work with pricing to finalize client budget grids and WBS-code mapping.
β’ Support updates to country, regional, and client-specific costing rules and algorithms.
β’ Contribute to initiatives aimed at strategic process improvement.
β’ Mentor and provide onboarding training for new members of the Costing team.
β’ Conduct quality checks on completed tasks performed by the Costing Manager.
β’ Monitor win/loss opportunities, gather data, and present insights to senior management.
β’ Moderate industry knowledge is preferred.
β’ Experience in budgeting and finance is preferred.
β’ Strong communication skills are essential.
β’ Effective time management skills are required.
β’ Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Solid experience with Excel.
β’ Strong analytical skills are necessary.
β’ Proven ability to work remotely.
β’ A self-starter who completes tasks effectively.
β’ A bachelor's degree in a life science or business-related field is preferred.
