This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.
• Support the Director of Corporate Strategy & Chief of Staff in overseeing strategic projects and preparing presentations for executives.
• Lead or assist in strategic planning activities, which encompass market analysis, competitive benchmarking, identifying growth opportunities, and establishing strategic priorities.
• Collaborate closely with supporting functions to guarantee that strategic priorities are understood and effectively executed throughout the organization.
• Serve as a strategic partner to functional leaders (such as Legal, HR, etc.) on key initiatives that further Celestica’s corporate strategy.
• Organize and oversee executive-level meetings (e.g., strategy reviews, Steering Committee sessions), ensuring clear agendas, adequate preparation, and follow-through.
• Generate data-driven insights utilizing both internal and external data (market, financial, operational) to guide strategic decision-making.
• Investigate and utilize AI and advanced analytics for the strategy team; assist initiatives aimed at integrating AI into supportive functions.
• Promote the adoption of AI tools within strategy operations and supporting functions, including the identification of use cases, pilot programs, and scaling strategies.
• Establish and monitor outcome metrics for AI initiatives.
• Cultivate robust relationships with leaders across business units and corporate functions, acting as a trusted thought partner.
• Aid in the facilitation of workshops, leadership meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Create high-quality reports, presentations, and briefing materials for executive leadership and board communications.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to address challenges and further corporate initiatives.
• Remain informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging risks to guide strategic recommendations.
• Advocate for structured thinking, clear communication, and disciplined execution throughout the strategy process.
• Manage ad-hoc projects as directed by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or an equivalent postgraduate degree is preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or a comparable strategic role within a global organization.
• Proven experience in leading or supporting complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives from inception to execution.
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to synthesize data and deliver actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience in preparing materials for executives and board members.
• Experience supporting legal, HR, or other corporate functions is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Capability to distill complex information into clear options and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Familiarity with AI in corporate environments is a plus.
• Experience in measuring the impact of AI (defining KPIs, tracking value realization, etc.) is a significant asset.
