This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Facilitate discovery for Certificates of Insurance tasks earmarked for offshore transition.
• Evaluate existing COI workflows, servicing actions, and client-facing needs to aid in transition planning.
• Assist in developing solutions for transition design, service preparedness, and alignment of offshore roles.
• Oversee implementation activities and coordination for the offshore COI process.
• Offer expertise as a subject matter expert during the setup, go-live phase, and stabilization period.
• Analyze contracts and insurance mandates to establish process expectations, risk factors, and guidelines for offshore handling.
• Decode coverage requirements and contribute to process design for precise certificate issuance.
• Supervise BAU performance, service quality, adherence to processes, and outcomes for client service.
• Develop and sustain SOPs, job aids, process maps, and knowledge articles pertinent to COI issuance and servicing.
• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer for offshore teams to ensure preparedness and consistent performance.
• Assist in system conversions, updates to workflows, and process modifications that affect the COI function.
• Promote standardization, efficiency, and ongoing improvement throughout the certificate process.
• Manage communication with stakeholders regarding assigned processes and transition milestones.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable education, training, and relevant work experience.
• A minimum of seven years in Property & Casualty insurance experience is required.
• Proven extensive experience in issuing Certificates of Insurance in a client-facing setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of contract reviews, insurance prerequisites, and interpretation of coverage.
• Experience in supporting or leading operational transitions, process enhancements, or service delivery projects.
• Preference for candidates with experience working with or supporting offshore operations teams.
• Strong grasp of service quality, risk management, and process controls within insurance operations.
• Leadership skills with the capability to influence and coordinate among servicing teams, business stakeholders, and offshore collaborators.
• Highly proficient in written and verbal communication, as well as facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to respond promptly, effectively, and professionally while managing multiple tasks and achieving results.
• Strong skills in documentation and process management, including the development of SOPs and knowledge articles.
• Capacity to provide strategic insights while also executing detailed implementation and transition tasks.
