Corporate Finance – Strategy Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Participate in the formulation of medium to long-term strategic initiatives through comprehensive analysis, market research, and financial modeling to facilitate essential business decisions.

• Discover avenues to enhance and automate financial processes, reporting, and data tracking by utilizing analytical tools.

• Conduct thorough analyses of critical business drivers, such as revenue, costs, and unit economics; assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

• Assist in the assessment of strategic opportunities, encompassing acquisitions, partnerships, and mergers & acquisitions, through market research, financial analysis, and execution support as needed.

• Aid in comprehensive fundraising initiatives, which include constructing financial models, developing investor materials (pitch decks, data rooms, updates), and addressing ad hoc investor inquiries and due diligence questions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Highly analytical, possessing experience in financial modeling and the preparation of strategic or investor-oriented materials (experience in venture capital, investment banking, or consulting is advantageous).

• Prior experience in startups or fast-paced environments is highly preferred.

• Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

• Expertise in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with CRM platforms and the use of AI/automation tools is a plus.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are beneficial).

• Awareness of digital assets and cryptocurrency is advantageous but not mandatory.
