This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support for a diverse array of commercial contracting and associated legal matters.
• Primarily concentrate on the review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts.
• Assist in the creation of contract templates, processes, and the management of the organization’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
• Offer guidance to internal stakeholders regarding standard contract terms, legal issues, and necessary approvals.
• Collaborate with senior members of the legal team on complex or high-risk matters.
• Create, document, and sustain processes related to contracts.
• Identify and apply tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness in contract management.
• Maintain records, templates, workflows, and data related to contracts within the CLM platform.
• Perform legal research and support strategic growth initiatives.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Current bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Over 5 years of pertinent experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
• Proven track record in commercial contracting or general corporate transactions.
• Experience in developing or revising contract templates and standard legal language.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, technology, and vendor contracting issues.
• Familiarity with SaaS, privacy, cybersecurity, and data processing terms in commercial contracts.
• Experience with contract workflow tools, CLM platforms, or legal operations systems.
• Interest in enhancing processes and scalable legal service delivery.
• Experience working collaboratively with procurement, finance, IT, and compliance teams.
