Corporate Bookkeeper, Cleanup Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Support the cleanup and evaluation of various items as requested by team members, including revenue coding, payroll, and balance sheet accounts.

• Collaborate on the financial closing process as needed, ensuring that client books for the previous month are finalized by the agreed-upon deadline each month.

• Take ownership of the monthly financial review for multiple clients, including those who are newly onboarded.

• Examine, code, and reconcile transactions related to bank feeds.

• Identify patterns, propose rules, and research or flag any unidentified transactions.

• Assist with the cleanup tasks for new clients.

• Manage complex problem-solving tasks, conduct research, and draft inquiries for clients.

• Exhibit effective communication skills to keep both the team and clients informed.

• Provide the ProfitCoach Experience throughout various projects as they arise.

• Oversee the inbox and review emails, assisting other team members with client communications via email and Slack.

⛳️ Requirements

• A background in accounting or a demonstrated understanding of fundamental accounting principles.

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

• Strong written communication abilities.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for precision.

• Ability to grasp new concepts with both written and practical assistance.

• Experience using Quickbooks Online (QBO).

• Familiarity with Xero.

• Understanding of property management accounting practices.

• Knowledge of the NARPM Standard Chart of Accounts.

• Experience with AppFolio, particularly in accessing reports.

• Experience in payroll processing and filing payroll taxes.

• Previous involvement in financial auditing or financial reviews.
