Corporate Analytics Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop interactive reports and dashboards utilizing Power BI to represent intricate data sets visually.

• Design and enhance Power BI DAX measures to compute key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

• Utilize Microsoft Power Query for data transformation and cleansing tasks.

• Investigate and incorporate additional data sources, including those from Snowflake.

• Guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and dependability in all reporting outputs.

• Continuously enhance and optimize existing reports and dashboards based on user feedback and changing business needs.

• Promote the utilization of reports and dashboards by tracking report usage and gathering customer feedback.

• Execute full end-to-end development of BI reporting requirements, from gathering requirements, schema creation, to ultimately publishing production-ready dashboards and reports.

• Convert business requirements into production reports for specified internal departments and business users.

• Oversee the designated Microsoft Teams channel and communication with business and stakeholders.

• Manage Power BI Workspaces, including access to specific reports using RLS (Role Level Security).

• Assist in updating and maintaining departmental confluence pages.

• Utilize the Jira ticketing system to track and manage requests from the business.

• Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends in business intelligence and data visualizations.

• Responsible for maintaining regular communication with designated business units to enhance communication and set delivery expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in developing reports/visualizations and analyzing data using a BI Toolset (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAS, Excel).

• Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

• Knowledgeable about data security management, governance, and PHI.

• Familiar with issue/project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, SharePoint, etc.).

• Basic understanding of Power BI and the creation of DAX measures.

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

• General understanding of database and reporting terminology.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
