Corporate Affairs Director – R&D, AI&D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategic communications function within the Research & Development and Artificial Intelligence & Data Corporate Affairs teams.

• Create integrated communication strategies that promote R&D and AI&D business goals, organizational objectives, and enterprise initiatives.

• Manage integrated communication campaigns and content across both internal and external channels.

• Craft strategic narratives that convert complex scientific, technical, and business concepts into engaging stories.

• Direct communication strategies that facilitate organizational transformation, AI adoption, and innovative working methods.

• Establish frameworks for communication planning, governance, and measurement.

• Develop and sustain communication dashboards, performance reporting, and analytics.

• Identify opportunities to streamline communications, minimize redundancy, and enhance impactful storytelling.

• Lead and nurture a high-performing team through strategic guidance, coaching, and career advancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 4 years of communications or public relations experience, OR Master’s degree with 7 years, OR Bachelor’s degree with 9 years.

• Extensive experience in leading strategic communications within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or technology sectors.

• Proven track record in developing strategies that promote business priorities and organizational change.

• Strong knowledge of scientific research, drug discovery and development, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, or other highly technical disciplines.

• Outstanding writing, storytelling, and executive communication abilities.

• Capability to convert intricate scientific and business concepts into compelling narratives for varied audiences.

• Established ability to forge trusted partnerships, influence without direct authority, and lead cross-functional initiatives within a complex organizational structure.

• Experience in leveraging audience insights, analytics, and metrics to enhance communication effectiveness and demonstrate business impact.

• Strong business acumen, executive presence, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm for scientific innovation and emerging technologies.
