CoreMedia CMS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide clients with expert advice on technical solutions and strategies.

• Support developers and oversee project coordination for smaller development initiatives.

• Create architectural designs and plan implementation strategies.

• Build modern, dynamic web applications, such as those utilizing CoreMedia CMS or Magnolia CMS, or web applications that leverage AI technologies.

• Develop backend logic using Java and Spring frameworks.

• Construct frontends utilizing React and Next.js.

• Connect backend services through REST / GraphQL interfaces.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality assurance.

• Implement agile processes and methodologies.

• Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing.

• Demonstrated ability to provide professional and fair advice to clients, resulting in successful project outcomes.

• Strong, open, and respectful communication skills.

• A genuine interest in leading and coordinating teams.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in coordinating development projects in roles such as Tech Lead or Architect.

• At least 5 years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on Java and Spring.

• Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary web technologies, including TypeScript and React.

• Expertise in a Java-based content management system, preferably CoreMedia or Magnolia; alternatively, significant proficiency in Java web application development.

• Experience in utilizing artificial intelligence for consulting and development, as well as in customer solutions.

• Strong background in applying best practices for code quality, testing, and performance optimization within an agile environment.

• In-depth understanding of software architectures.

• Basic familiarity with infrastructure technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services, and CI/CD.
