This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Create clear, concise, and engaging content tailored for various market access audiences, channels, and formats.
• Convert intricate clinical data, health economics, payer strategies, reimbursement considerations, and access barriers into communications relevant to the audience.
• Develop value narratives, payer messaging frameworks, access toolkits, field resources, objection handling materials, and assets for launch support.
• Generate communications aimed at commercial and government payers, PBMs, GPOs, IDNs, health systems, specialty pharmacies, hubs, patient support services, and field access teams.
• Consistently apply established brand strategies, messaging, tone, and voice.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Account, Medical, Market Access, Art, UX, and Client teams from the initial brief to final execution.
• Gain a deep understanding of assigned brands, scientific backgrounds, the competitive landscape, payer environments, access challenges, and customer needs.
• Ensure that copy is precise, strategically aligned, and suitable for medical, legal, and regulatory review.
• Integrate feedback from internal stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.
• Present and discuss copy recommendations during internal and client meetings.
• Handle multiple assignments and deadlines while paying close attention to detail.
• Contribute innovative ideas that enhance the work and convey brand value.
• 3-5+ years of copywriting experience at a pharmaceutical advertising agency.
• Proven experience in creating Market Access or payer-focused communications.
• Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical agency workflows and medical, legal, and regulatory review processes.
• A portfolio showcasing strong writing abilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to clearly communicate complex healthcare information.
• Experience in developing payer value propositions, messaging platforms, access toolkits, launch materials, field access resources, pull-through assets, and similar communications.
• Capability to translate clinical, economic, and access strategies into clear, persuasive messages.
• Strong grasp of market access, including payer decision-making, value communication, formulary strategy, coverage policies, reimbursement pathways, and access challenges.
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects, priorities, and deadlines concurrently.
• Exceptional command of the English language with a keen eye for accuracy, consistency, and detail.
