Coordinator, P2P Appeals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contact payers to arrange Peer to Peer discussions with CorroHealth Medical Directors

• Reach out to payers regarding cases that have exceeded the scheduled Peer to Peer timeframe

• Record details from payer conversations in the proprietary CorroHealth system

• Update account statuses across various databases

• Assist with case entry, Peer to Peer interactions, and appeals processes within the department

• Operate independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred

• Experience in a call center is preferred

• Familiarity with denial processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care product lines is advantageous

• Previous experience with hospital EMRs and payer portals is preferred

• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, including the use of formulas, copying and pasting within cells, and creating multiple worksheets

• Accurate keyboarding skills

• Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Detail-oriented with the capability to multitask across various screens and programs

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to seek resolutions and take initiative

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Aptitude for thriving in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client and sensitive information

• Strict compliance with HIPAA/HITECH regulations

• Availability to work Monday–Friday, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST

• Capability to perform computer-based tasks for 6–8 hours each day

• Occasional ability to lift and transport materials weighing up to 20 lbs
