This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• This is a field-based role focused on enhancing revenue generation and resolving cases that involve the ongoing delivery of ZOLL products and services with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support personnel.
• Conduct visits to ZOLL customers and accounts in the field to guarantee the continuous supply of ZOLL’s medical devices for clinically appropriate situations.
• Independently assess and collaborate with office staff and healthcare providers to highlight patient cases as necessary, including prioritizing competing objectives (patient care plans, potential care transitions, reorder documentation, and end-of-use considerations) based on independent clinical judgment and familiarity with ZOLL’s medical devices to determine the optimal path for patient care and advise providers or their staff accordingly.
• Proactively utilize personalized analysis and the Plan of Care to inform providers or their staff about the next level of care for patients and how ZOLL’s medical devices may be beneficial.
• Work alongside ZOLL TM/RM to ensure that patients within a given area receive the appropriate level of service regarding ZOLL’s medical devices with minimal disruptions.
• Oversee the follow-up process by collaborating with other departments, such as National Accounts, which work closely with payers to enhance efficiencies within the payer’s environment.
• Keep up-to-date with the clinical and other value propositions associated with ZOLL products and services.
• Ensure the timely completion of necessary documentation to avoid delays in the provision of services and products and mitigate risks to recurring revenue streams.
• Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of specific and diverse payer requirements, ensuring compliance to maximize reimbursement payments to the company.
• Provide continuous education and training to hospital and office staff regarding medical device order requirements and workflows to achieve operational efficiencies.
• Accountable for improving claims billing yield within a specified geography of assigned accounts, including eligibility for potential bonus incentives based on performance.
• Assist with departmental projects and special assignments as needed (e.g., Pilot Teams).
• Achieve and sustain acceptable performance metrics.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures while maintaining knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations, particularly HIPAA.
• Engage in all reasonable work activities as assigned and deemed appropriate by management, including any additional duties assigned by management.
• A High School Diploma / GED is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience in sales is preferred.
• Experience in Healthcare/Medical Device (Clinical or Billing) is advantageous.
• Proven ability to navigate Hospital and Clinic/Practice environments, demonstrating proficiency in hospital flow, document collection, and effective interactions with providers and patients.
• Must possess the ability to proactively plan and work independently while maintaining close collaboration and communication with others.
• A strong sense of urgency and flexibility regarding scheduling is essential.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A problem-solving mindset, with accountability for all tasks from inception to completion.
• Proficient working knowledge of MS Office (including Power BI, Excel, Word, Outlook) and Customer Relationship Management systems (Salesforce.com, Dynamics) is preferred.
• An effective team player who can also work independently with strong self-motivation.
• A valid driver's license is required.
