Coordinator, Individualized Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Accountable for managing both inbound and outbound calls, with the capability to assess needs and achieve resolution in a single call.

• Tasked with reporting adverse events within the specified timeframe.

• Responsible for creating and accurately completing referrals and applications while staying informed about policy or procedural updates.

• Investigate and address patient and physician inquiries and concerns promptly.

• Input detailed information into the company's proprietary software while engaging in telephone conversations.

• Make outbound calls for patient follow-ups or confirmations.

• Exhibit exceptional customer support skills.

• Collaborate with patient referral sources to process new applicants.

• Manage patient accounts from the initial contact through to final approval or denial.

• Prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks and operate with a sense of urgency.

• Uphold quality and provide a compassionate and supportive experience for patients by guiding the conversation, educating callers, and delivering effective strategies and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• Previous experience in customer service is preferred.

• Familiarity with practices and procedures typically found in a call center or customer service setting is preferred.

• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and common practices and policies of commercially insured payers is preferred.

• Proficiency in utilizing well-known and company-specific software for optimal efficiency is preferred.

• Ability to maintain a high level of productivity is preferred.

• Capability to multitask while engaging in conversation is preferred.
