Controls Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and implement PLC/HMI/SCADA solutions (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)

• Set up industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet) and integrate field devices

• Oversee commissioning activities including FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing)

• Connect control systems with WCS/WES and upstream/downstream systems

• Diagnose live production challenges and conduct root cause analysis

• Assist with system upgrades, retrofits, and initiatives for performance enhancement

• Work collaboratively with mechanical, software, and operations teams throughout implementation

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–8+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering

• Practical PLC programming and troubleshooting skills

• In-depth knowledge of material handling systems (conveyors, sorters, ASRS)

• Capability to support on-site commissioning and travel as needed

• Experience in high-throughput or 24/7 operations is preferred
