This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct the accounting department, encompassing general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting responsibilities.
• Formulate, execute, and uphold accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for precision and thoroughness.
• Spearhead the design and ongoing enhancement of financial workflows, aiming to shorten month-end close timelines and automate manual data entry tasks.
• Coordinate and manage external audits and tax submissions, collaborating closely with auditors and tax advisors to guarantee timely and accurate filings.
• Deliver financial analysis and insights to senior management to aid in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to enhance the company’s financial standing.
• Ensure that the accounting team is well-trained, motivated, and aligned with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
• Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and best practices to continuously refine financial processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA certification is mandatory.
• At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated experience in a small to mid-sized organization.
• Familiarity with commission automation software.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite is required.
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM for sales data reconciliation.
• Base Salary: $175,000–$190,000 based on experience and qualifications
• Annual Performance Bonus: 30% of base salary, linked to company and individual objectives
