This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Create, evaluate, negotiate, and oversee a diverse array of contracts, including vendor agreements, subcontractor agreements, service agreements, NDAs, and purchasing terms.
• Organize and maintain contract records, including renewals, amendments, and compliance documentation.
• Track contractual obligations to ensure the timely execution of deliverables, renewals, and notifications.
• Identify and address contractual and commercial risks.
• Collaborate with legal counsel as required for complex agreements or disputes.
• Ensure adherence to FAR, DFARS, and DIB-specific requirements.
• Oversee procurement processes for goods, services, materials, and subcontracted work, facilitating project execution and operational needs.
• Identify and assess vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors based on pricing, quality, reliability, and performance metrics.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements to maximize value and minimize costs.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and establish performance standards.
• Ensure purchasing activities conform to budgets, operational requirements, and company policies.
• Enhance procurement and contract management procedures along with internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, licensing requirements, cybersecurity standards (e.g., CMMC, NIST SP 800-171), and company policies.
• Assist with audits and reporting requirements related to purchasing and contracts.
• Monitor procurement metrics, spending patterns, and vendor performance.
• Collaborate closely with operations, legal, accounting, and leadership teams to support project, sales, and operational objectives.
• Aid in the onboarding and offboarding of vendors and subcontractors.
• Support departments with bid packages, RFPs, scope evaluations, and vendor selection.
• Provide advice on contractual obligations and procurement best practices.
• Present procurement and contract strategies to leadership.
• Translate findings into business and contract risk assessment.
• Deliver readiness reports prior to contract pursuits.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, contract administration, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience managing vendor and subcontractor agreements in a dynamic operational setting.
• Strong negotiation and analytical capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement/accounting software systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal oversight.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract obligations.
• Successful completion of a background investigation is mandatory.
• Compliance with all company security policies and safeguarding procedures is required.
