This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle independently, encompassing proposal support, negotiation of terms and conditions, contract administration, modifications, and closeout.
• Act as the main contracts liaison with external customers, which includes U.S. Government contracting personnel and prime contractor clients.
• Lead and carry out negotiations to secure advantageous business results while ensuring adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding contractual rights, obligations, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Review, draft, and negotiate prime contracts, subcontracts, modifications, NDAs, teaming agreements, REAs, and claims.
• Interpret and apply FAR, DFARS, and relevant agency supplements.
• Aid in proposal development, including RFP/RFQ analysis, compliance matrices, and contractual volumes.
• Identify contractual risks and convey clear recommendations to leadership.
• Prepare and present written materials and presentations for internal leadership and customers.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of contracts policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Over 8 years of progressive contracts experience supporting U.S. Government and/or defense programs in a customer-facing capacity.
• Proven working knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
• Capability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and sound business judgment.
• Experience with a large or mid-tier DoD prime contractor is preferred.
• Familiarity with cost-type, T&M, and fixed-price contracts is preferred.
