This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct thorough reviews, drafts, and negotiations of customer and supplier agreements, real estate leases, software licenses, purchase and sales agreements, insurance contracts, government contracts, RFPs, and other intricate procurement and contracting documents.
• Create and negotiate customized agreements that address specific business requirements and transactions.
• Ensure all contracts adhere to legal, regulatory, and company guidelines.
• Distribute monthly bulletins related to contracts.
• Design and facilitate regular contract training sessions.
• Perform regulatory and business-related research while reviewing agreements and documents.
• Serve as an escalation point for Paralegals with inquiries or issues regarding contracts.
• Engage in special projects that support the Legal team and business goals.
• Offer strategic counsel to business stakeholders, Vice President-level executives, and senior leaders on deal structuring, risk allocation, and transaction-related topics.
• Assist in the integration of newly acquired entities by assessing and updating contract templates and creating new ones.
• Advise the business on commercial matters, contract interpretation, and disputes.
• Develop and maintain contract playbooks, negotiation strategies, fallback positions, and standard agreement templates.
• Provide support across a wide range of commercial issues as required.
• Follow internal standards, policies, and procedures diligently.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 5 years of experience as a contracts professional.
• Proven capability to independently review, negotiate, and finalize various commercial and government contracts.
• Experience with cross-border and multi-jurisdictional agreements, RFPs, and complex procurement and contracting documents.
• Membership in NCMA.
• Proficient in advanced English language skills.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a dynamic, highly professional setting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, negotiation, and legal reasoning skills.
• Capacity to work collaboratively and efficiently with others while coordinating internal and external activities that have legal implications for the company.
• Ability to handle issues and workloads independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and CoPilot.
