Contracts Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Prepare, assess, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial contracts.

• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to negotiate client agreements, facilitating an efficient progression towards deal execution.

• Deliver practical, business-focused legal counsel regarding contract terms, risk management, compliance, and commercial matters.

• Recognize legal and operational risks and propose suitable solutions that align with business goals.

• Develop and enhance standard contract templates, fallback language, and negotiation strategies.

• Assist in managing customer and vendor contracts as required.

• Aid in due diligence initiatives with prospective and existing clients.

• Support various other commercial legal issues as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.

• Authorized to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.

• 2–5 years of experience in commercial contract law practice.

• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating SaaS or enterprise software contracts.

• Strong comprehension of commercial contracting principles and risk management strategies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Strong business acumen and a collaborative mindset.
