This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.
• Act as a functional resource and mentor for a geographically diverse team of contract drafters; assist in coordinating workflows, addressing process or template-related inquiries, and sharing best practices in drafting.
• Draft and review intricate agreements spanning various data center categories, including transportation and warehousing, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), software licensing, and professional IT services.
• Process contracts in accordance with client policies.
• Maintain an internal database containing relevant information, including legal documents.
• Support in the preparation and revision of contracts related to the buying and selling of goods and services.
• Create contract briefs and amendments that summarize contractual obligations and budgets.
• Monitor authorizations and communications, ensuring detailed and organized file maintenance.
• Draft contract change notices, oversee contractor performance, and report on the status of contractor and owner deliverables.
• Maintain an audit file for each contract, which will include the original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, and payment schedules.
• Analyze and mitigate risks.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-year college or university with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience in drafting and reviewing technology-related agreements (SaaS, software licensing, IT services).
• Strong collaboration and coaching abilities, capable of supporting and guiding team members across different locations.
• Network with senior internal and external personnel within your area of expertise.
• Exercise sound judgment in choosing methods and techniques for achieving solutions.
• Proficient in the English language.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex information.
• Technologically inclined, with a desire to learn and understand systems and interpret data.
• Familiar with high-accuracy data input.
• Capable of managing high workloads while meeting deadlines.
• Highly organized with the ability to oversee multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
• Customer-focused and aware.
• Proficient in Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups).
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Self-motivated.
• Experienced in how databases capture information.
• Proven capability to work accurately with large datasets.
